The Poles
The poles are made from slow growing Scandinavian timber. Grown slowly in a cold climate the poles have a tight knitted grain providing a strong sturdy pole. The poles are also supplied to the ladder industry due to their straightness and dependability, where they conform to BS1129 – the most stringent industrial class in the access sector.
The Canvas
Durability - Manufactured with professionally graded canvas as standard, all canvases are reinforced along the edges with hard-wearing, tear-resistant, texturized nylon Cordura fabric. Manufactured by expert fabrication technicians using advanced textiles methods to ensure the canvas sheets are extremely strong and can withstand the worst of the British Weather.
Waterproof - The tepee canvas is rigorously tested using Hydrostatic Head tests over 24 hours to insure they will keep the rain out.
Fireproof - The canvas fabric carries a lifetime flame retardancy certificate, meeting BS 7837, DIN 4102 B2 and NF 92-503 class: M2 standards. This results in a safe and secure tepee.
